  29. My BBS machine is 8 years old, up and running 24h a day. And I still have an
  30. '87 A1000, thogh that's for nostalgia, not for work :)
  31. I don't think AGA is anything like a standard, but it's not the fault of the
  32. programmer if a program requires things ECS just can't do. People have to face
  33. it, for some things these old machines are outdated and without a major
  34. upgrade new software will not work. You can multitask fine on a 512K 68000
  35. machine, but if you want do to image processing there's no way around a more
  36. powerful computer. Saying you shouldn't have to upgrade is like saying you
  37. shouldn't need any training to run a Marathon. Well, you may try. But you will
  38. fail because your body doesn't meet the requirements.
